Organic and molecular electronics are our main fields of research. Especially the implementation of opto-electronic devices (e.g. light diodes, solar cells, transistors, memory cells) with organic semiconductors. Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy we review the electronic band structure of crystalline layers of pentacene at room temperature. We found evidence of band-similar transport of charge carriers within those layers/films. The conclusions can be used in the area of printable and flexible circuitries, organic light emitting  diodes and displays to the point of huge flat screens. In difference to the established technology based on silicon the interrelationship of organic electronic materials is much more complex.
